Are Photographer’s Visionaries?!

There she was in all of her Glory and to witness her perching there on high made me cry. I could hardly breathe as it hit me,  just this morning mentioned; “never saw one in the wild…”  Talk about the end of an incredible day!!!

Was invited to join some photographer’s on a road trip. “Ever been to the Everglades?”  Living in Florida since 1986 and you would think this would have been on my bucket list and experienced by now, nevertheless, life’s accumulation of duties chained me, authentic traveling alluded me.

You see my child, one must come out of the shadows and embrace the knowing, yes, wings were created for flying . . . ~

When the Eagle took flight we followed a 1/2 mile or more. My dear friend had an amazing “dream chaser vehicle”,  equipped with sun roof  and my 400 MM lens fit perfectly through it!  Yes, we were soaring with her.

Take heart and gather courage and soar above the mundane, beyond the horizon of what is visible for Mother Earth and Father Sky, Brother Son and Sister Moon say come, loving the shadow as well as the light, seeing the beauty in both you too will take flight~

There were three this day, experiencing this adventure. Navigation, Hawk Eyes and me. The connection was divine and components perfectly aligned, as our motives were the same; Capture raw nature in her habitat.  And to think each one of us reminisced how we use to travel alone.

Juvenile American Bald Eagle; Everglades National Park, Miami Florida

Navigator spoke; “You guys have your fill”?   The car needed to be refueled, we had to get home to our earthly families as it had been 13 hours and 30 min we had been away and the sun was setting.  I think we all sighed in unison knowing it was indeed time to go but Hawk Eyes said; “Lets go back and see if the young eagle is still on that branch”.   As we drove back to the field and observed those same trees we realized there were no birds anywhere!  It was as if we had just witnessed a vision and the message. . . clearly transmitted!

About Brenda

"Brenda adores the birds. She is enchanted with their grace, their beauty. It was the birds and being out among them that gave her the peace she so needed and forged a new passion She uses a camera to capture those incredible moments, to savor them and share them with others. For her the camera was freedom. Brenda spent her life healing others, and dealing with incredible pain and despair. The world of birds and nature and photography was what she turned to in order to see the beautiful side of the world" -Eric Curtis Cummings

  5. I think for many photographers it is a mixture of being in the right place at the right time and seeing things that many would have missed. Put them together and you get the perfect image.
