Three Generations and Growing…Did I dream this Half My Life Ago?!

Had no idea it would be so FULL this life!!! Below is me, my youngest daughter with her child, my grandchild! Reminisce fishing with my daughter’s and now to witness this? Tears me up it does!

Flashback!! Me, Kenny and Ray, childhood friends, would go to this one pond every day in summer. Our goal was to catch the biggest frog evah. This one frog, we called him Freddy, he made the deepest sounds and he was HUGE! Every time we would dare to catch him, down deep in the dark waters he leapt. Today watching her run down to the rivers edge sparked this memory. She had no fear, just pure joy in attempting to catch these leaping things in the water!!Β  No one around her had fear, and either did she! Yup, she found JOY in CATCHING FROGS!

It gets me thinking about our lives, growing, playing, dreaming and CATCHING JOY!

MILA HAS HER PRINCEAnd sometimes it isn’t exactly what one would think, especially when the catch is bigger then your net!

milas kermitTHIS is what growing up is all about! Finding the right habitat, surrounding yourself with nurturing friends and family who can help direct one on paths which sustain health, joy and sustenance! And to think, all of this preserved within a generational memory.

The truth tho, if we never choose to exit the highway, respond to an invitation, the above wouldn’t even have been captured…witnessed!Β  Dare yourself to start dreaming again!

“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
“Life is beauty, admire it. Life is a dream, realize it. Life is a challenge, meet it. Life is a duty, complete it. Life is a game, play it. Life is a promise, fulfill it. Life is sorrow, overcome it. Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it. Life is a tragedy, confront it. Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.”

About Brenda

"Brenda adores the birds. She is enchanted with their grace, their beauty. It was the birds and being out among them that gave her the peace she so needed and forged a new passion She uses a camera to capture those incredible moments, to savor them and share them with others. For her the camera was freedom. Brenda spent her life healing others, and dealing with incredible pain and despair. The world of birds and nature and photography was what she turned to in order to see the beautiful side of the world" Eric Curtis Cummings
