Orange Julia~

Julia Heliconian

If a females abdomen is up it is telling the male counterpart BACK OFF, just the opposite of what I initially thought.

Found a map which displays all verified sighting records in the “BAMONA” database for this species. Our splash of orange today is named  Dryas JULIA

The orange dots on the map provide access to information about the 200 most recently verified sightings of this species. In some instances, there are several records at the same location. You can use this for access these records! the map

Just wanted to share this beautiful species of ORANGE captured in beautiful Florida!

About Brenda

"Brenda adores the birds. She is enchanted with their grace, their beauty. It was the birds and being out among them that gave her the peace she so needed and forged a new passion She uses a camera to capture those incredible moments, to savor them and share them with others. For her the camera was freedom. Brenda spent her life healing others, and dealing with incredible pain and despair. The world of birds and nature and photography was what she turned to in order to see the beautiful side of the world" -Eric Curtis Cummings
