Ever feel “Un-Done”? Need to “Do-Over”?

Situations can create an unbalanced, almost shaky existence. The idea was great, you were led to the right place and now water surrounds you. You can swim but dangit there’s gators in there! Just how are you going to gain access to the other side when there is no bridge?  Maybe access is present but you just don’t see it.

The above scenario could be a description of an on-line game. Rewinding the tape of reality is an appealing metaphor and might even be a private prayer. Nevertheless, issuing some special ‘undo’ command has been made common only by technology. This kind of instant reversibility is now an inescapable facet of our virtual world. Take Facebook for instance, accept a friend, like a comment, defriend, unlike, like, poke, tag, upload pic’s and video’s instantly.

Pondering, if only our hearts could be as responsive-neutral. Not hold on to negative feelings, hate the sin..not the sinner.  Un-do, forgive and heal instantly. Live life abundantly, joyously, prosper in every which way. Can it be done?

Well guess what, purchased a Raynox and now have access to a far away island of chirps. Before my Zoom Lens the Island looked like this;

And though you could tell it was a neophyte on the other end, by golly got the shot!

Look at the birds, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, careless in the care of God. And you count far more to him than birds. Matthew 6:26

As my husband was watching he commented; “Look at the nest and the fledglings”, was so preoccupied on “Mr Strutting his stuff” ; Great White Egret, missed the nest totally.

Think this is why God said; don’t forget the gathering together. It’s in the sharing, transference of light and reflection, where Grace does her sufficiency thang! Sometimes access is unseen, cloaked in mystery and the only way to get to the other side, is move through those facts; your frustration, fear, depression, loneliness, broken heart, any dis-easeembrace the truth, and never let it go, evah.

About Brenda

"Brenda adores the birds. She is enchanted with their grace, their beauty. It was the birds and being out among them that gave her the peace she so needed and forged a new passion She uses a camera to capture those incredible moments, to savor them and share them with others. For her the camera was freedom. Brenda spent her life healing others, and dealing with incredible pain and despair. The world of birds and nature and photography was what she turned to in order to see the beautiful side of the world" -Eric Curtis Cummings

    Wow. Beautiful. Really made me think. It also reminded me of something a friend said yesterday when I told her the story of my son going to live in a group home and how long I resisted it. She said: “You are the third person this week who has told me that something they thought was ‘the worst thing that could happen’ turned out to be The Best thing.” It makes you think: Maybe access looks like a dead end sometimes…:-)

    Great shots! Looks like Raynox will take you to far away places. So don’t evah, nevah, leave your camera without a look at the assembly of nature at it’s hidden best!

    I love my zoom, and this is precisely why: with it you can focus on the details and see into the larger picture one small space at a time. Nice shots Brenda!
